Since it founded in 2006, the company has been dedicated to the R&D and market promoting of cable accessories. Today, ANKURA Electric has become China's only comprehensive solution provider specializing in ultra-high voltage cable accessories systems. Not only does it supply customers with connectors, laying materials, testing equipment, and intelligent control devices, but it also offers comprehensive professional services including engineering design, construction, complete equipment supply, testing, and operational maintenance.

ANKURA Electric has provided these services for the localization of 330kV and 500kV cable lines in China's power system, including the country's first EPC projects for 330kV and 500kV cable lines. The company achieved the first application of domestically produced 330kV and 500kV cable connectors, executed the installation of cables in a 462-meter-deep shaft in Ecuador – the world's largest vertical drop project, and undertook the construction of China's largest-angle 500kV cable project. Additionally, ANKURA Electric was the manufacturer for China's first 500kV offshore wind power cable project. More than 50% of the 500kV cable connectors used by China's State Grid are supplied by ANKURA Electric.

The company has also successfully broken through in the R&D of 750kV cable accessories, which have been recognized by appraisal experts as world-leading.
