Jiangsu Ankura Intelligent Electric Co., Ltd. was established in 2006. It mainly focuses on the innovation and research and of ultra-high voltage cable connection system, gas insulated transmission (GIL) system, smart modular substation with "open and change integrated machine" as the core, smart sponge power system, providing customers with a full range of power industry chain system services covering power generation, transmission, transformation, distribution, storage and use.
In 2006, Ankura developed and produced China's own ultra-high voltage cable accessories, achieving a leap from high voltage to-high voltage in China's cable industry, and a transformation from large to strong in a trillion-yuan industry. In 2016, Ankura continued to higher voltage, larger capacity, and safer gas-insulated transmission technology (GIL), creating a "great artery" for power grid transmission, and transforming traditional urban overhead into underground ones, effectively revitalizing land resources, improving the urban image, aiding regional planning, and solving the problem of power transmission in urban load centers. In 019, Ankura created the world's first smart modular substation system, creating a "new heart" for urban energy, releasing a large amount of land occupied by traditional substations, saving space, being quick and flexible, environmentally friendly, and achieving intelligent energy management, and optimizing the power grid structure. In 224, the cable system composed of 750kV cable accessories independently designed and developed by Ankura passed the authoritative electrical type test of China Electric Power Institute, becoming the world's first ultra-high voltage cable system to pass the test, which not only represents the leading global position of China's cable industry from large to, but also another major breakthrough in ultra-high voltage transmission technology.
As of now, Ankura has created 11 China's firsts, 17 world's firsts, and 11 world's only in the core power grid field of transmission and transformation, building a pioneer transmission and transformation system serving the future energy system. The company has a national strategic industry research and development platform - the Ultra-High Voltage Underground Power Transmission Research Center, provincial engineering centers, engineering technology centers, technology centers, and industrial design centers,doctoral scientific research workstations, and has been rated as "National Manufacturing Single Champion", "National Special New Technology Giant", "Jiangsu Province Top 10 Innovative Enterprises", "Jiangsu Manufacturing Outstanding Contribution Award". A total of 39 products have been rated as provincial and national key new products, with 25 valid authorized patents, including 43 invention patents. In March 2018 and May 2021, Ankura, as the private energy equipment enterprise in China, has been reported by CCTV's "Great Country Heavy Machinery" for its research and development of the pioneer transmission and transformation super equipment, represents the highest technical level of China's power equipment and provides important technical support for the development of the new power system.
