Since 2015, in response to the demands of ongoing urbanization, ANKURA Electric has dedicated efforts to the research and development of specialized Gas-Insulated Transmission Line (GIL) products. With the strong support of numerous domestic experts, the company pioneered the successful launch of China's first three-phase common-compartment 252kV GIL product, which quickly gained market recognition domestically. This achievement earned ANKURA Electric the official national recognition as the Top One in the GIL manufacturing industry from 2023 to 2025, a certificate issued by state authorities.

To support its advancements, ANKURA Electric established an ultra-high voltage and extra-high voltage testing hall capable of meeting the testing requirements for ±800kV DC and 1000kV AC GIL products. After three years of dedicated research and development, the company also built the world’s unique specialized automatic production line. Recently, ANKURA Electric has developed successfully an eco-friendly gas GIL product, which experts have certified as internationally leading.

The GIL products developed by ANKURA Electric are characterized and highlighted by high load capacity, low line loss, long lifetime, environmental safety, and an intelligent online monitoring system.
